What size skip bin do I need for a house clean-up?
A single garage or shed usually fits a 3m³ bin. A few rooms suits a 4m³ to 6m³, and a full house clean-out is normally a 10m³. When in doubt, go a size up or call us, it’s cheaper than needing a second bin.
What can I put in the bin?
Furniture, clothes, toys, boxes, garden waste and general household junk are all fine. No asbestos, food, liquids, paints, chemicals or gas bottles. Not sure about something? Just ask when you book.
How long do I get the bin for?
Most hires include a standard 7-day hire period. If you need it longer, just let us know and we’ll work something out.
Where will the bin go?
Most bins sit on the driveway, the lawn or the verge out front. We’ll place it where it suits you and where the truck can reach. Bins on the road or footpath usually need council permission, so call us first if space is tight.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. Tell us where you want the bin when you book, and we’ll put it there. Most deliveries happen without the owner home.
How does the weight allowance work?
Every bin includes a set weight in the price. Household clean-ups are usually light, so most people stay under and pay nothing extra. If you do go over, it’s $47.50 per 100kg, and we’ll tell you before we invoice.
What if I fill the bin and still have more?
Easy fix. Call us, we’ll collect the full bin and drop a fresh one in its place.
