What can go in a commercial skip bin?
Mixed building waste is fine: timber, metal, plasterboard, tiles, brick, concrete and general site rubbish. No asbestos, liquids, chemicals or gas bottles. Asbestos needs a dedicated bin and its own process, see our [asbestos disposal page].
Can I put concrete, brick or soil in any size bin?
Heavy waste is best in our smaller bins, since dense loads hit truck weight limits fast. We take roof tiles in bins up to 6m3, and bricks or concrete in bins up to 4m3. Tell us what you’re tossing when you book and we’ll put you in the right bin from the start. Save money with masonry-only skips.
How fast can you swap a full bin?
Quick. Call when the bin’s close to full and we’ll get a fresh one on site with minimal downtime, we can often organise fast swap-overs. Order by 10am for same-day.
Do you offer trade accounts?
Yes. We offer trade accounts for regular builders and contractors with invoicing to suit your projects.
How does weight-based pricing work for heavy loads?
Every mixed and green waste bin includes as set weight in the price. Go over and you pay $[XX] per 100kg for the extra, and we’ll tell you before we invoice. You’re paying for your actual waste, not a padded flat rate. To save tipping cost we recommend to separate bricks and concrete from mixed waste with a masonry-only bin.
Can the bin go on the road or footpath?
Bins on private property need no approval. On a road, footpath or nature strip, council permission is usually required, and rules vary by LGA. If you need a permit, we’ll apply for it on your behalf for a fee. Call us before you book and we’ll talk through what your site needs.
Can I get multiple bins or scheduled deliveries for a long job?
Yes. For staged builds and fit-outs we can line up bins and swap-overs to match your schedule, so waste never holds up a trade.
Do you deliver to all three regions?
Yes, we supply sites across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, same-day on orders before 10am, six days a week.
