Frequently Asked Questions
As a guide you can work out the size of bin required by measuring the length, width, and height of the items you want to get rid of.
A pile of waste with the dimensions of 2m long x 1m wide x 1m high equals 2m3. Therefore, a 2m3 skip bin would be the best fit.
The volume for a pile that is 3m long x 1.5m wide x 1.2m high equals 5.4m3. In this case you would be best placed with a 6m3 skip bin as a smaller size such as a 4m3 skip bin would not take all the waste.
Bin Size Guide:
Wheelbarrows | Wheelie Bins | Standard Trailer Loads | |
2m3 | 12 | 8 | 2 |
3m3 | 18 | 12 | 3 |
4m3 | 24 | 16 | 4 |
6m3 | 36 | 24 | 6 |
10m3 | 60 | 40 | 10 |
